I TRIED to be comfortable in an A6, but.....
For the THIRD time, I test drove a 2013 A6, but like the other two times, I just couldn't get comfortable in the seat.
The side bolsters pinched, I wiggled around, it was better, then a few minutes later, they pinched again.
The dealer wasn't TOO unhappy, as I've swiched to a 2014 A8 4.0. THOSE seats are great, no pinching at all.
Too bad, as I don't need such a large car, but the interior is even nicer and the V8 power should be fun.....

Must be a body shape thing. While no doubt that Audi puts more into the A8 seats, I find my A6 Prestige seats to be very comfortable with no pinching, even on 1000+ mile trips. Definitely better than were my '09 A4 B8 seats.

not sure that's a fair comparison. Either way, good luck with the 8
Agreed. No issues with the seats pinching after 27,000 miles. I like them with my low back issues but I understand that they are not for everyone.

What year A8? Any reliability issues? I'm a bit nervous about that.
Coming from a Lexus LS 600hL, I consider this more of a lateral move, with the A8 a tad smaller, but better handling, faster (the 4.0), and newer tech.
I really wanted to downsize to an A6 though…

I'm 6'2' 220 and have no/zero/nada (x3) in the wonderful Sport Seat option and other then getting in/out slight effort because of the bolstering the comfort level is pure joy.
