Heated steering wheel
Hey guys, I have an A7 but figured because the interior is identical, there' said bigger sampling base in the A6 forum.
So I've noticed that my heated steering wheel doesn't get all that, well, heated. My wife has a new grand Cherokee with heated steering and it gets nice and toasty. The A7 wheel you can kinda feel (barely)warm just a bit in a couple places, but nothing like the jeep, which is almost like holding a warm cup of coffee.
Any of you notice the same, or should I have them check it out?

Its not suppose to get hot just a little warm. Its only to warm your hands after shoveling or If you live in Extreme cold. Nothing to worry about. As it was said before too much heat would ruin leather. Most domestic vehicles use a leather blen.

I find the wheel perfect. My wifes Pathfinder gets too hot, I have to turn it off. I mean burn my fingers hot. That is not efficient as than it cools down and I need to turn it on again. Yo yo wheel. Mine though stays consistent and warm enough to take the chill off my hands. I personally love it and in the winter it just stays on all trip long. Now the seats, those bad boys get warm quick as well. I often can't keep it on the third setting and I have to tame it.
