Did you see the word "Google" on the MMI, if so, you have a connection, then there is something wrong with the MMI. If you have a 2012, sometimes it will take multiple attempts to get the MMI to update correctly. If you have a VCDS cable, do a scan and see if there is any error code stored. Or take it back to the dealer

If you look at the OP's photo, you can see that his Google logo is halfway visible. I'd bet it's the software update since that's the only thing not working with his Audi Connect.

Maybe a post in the A3 section would be more useful as C7 A6's are very different.

well I spent my afternoon on the internet looking for the same issue and couldn't find anything apart from this topic.

I have exactly the same issue, the word google is halfway visible, no google maps but all the internet services are working.

Even if it doesn't help me I guess it could still help people with A6 too if they have the same problem and come to this topic.

In my case it was my data plan expiring. The prior owner bought a set amount of months and I basically rode out his plan for about 4-5 months. I need to get it activated but I'm not ready to bite the ~$450 bullet for 30 months yet...

You may want to call Audi connect to be sure the account is active. They recently had a billing issue that caused my account to freeze. Google maps did not load although it appeared my connection was good and even had a wifi connection on my phone but it truly was not connected. Apparently some of the billing didn't go out and it caused a lot of owners connections to stop working.

The account is active for 3 years when you buy an A3 and all the other connect services (weather, google search ... ) work

only google maps is not working
