Sorry to revive an old thread... I dropped my AT&T connection after the Google Earth thing q1uit working... Is this re-enabled somehow? If I get my AT&T connection back up, will this suddenly start working again?

You don't say what year your car is, but if it is a 2015 or earlier (ie pre-facelift) then the system will be using 3G technology and as this has now been switched off in the US you will not be able to get the necessary data connection. If you have a facelift car that has LTE then it is possible based on what others have said in this thread that you might get Google maps to work

Actually if your car is older then 2019, there is no internet for us. AT&T has shut down their 4G towers for our cars to make room for 5G. Wifi, our MMI for looking up things, are all gone. Anything that requires the internet is gone. All we have now is what's built into the car. For example I can't use the speech function to find say "Pizza Hut". It will simple come back with nothing found. But if I use the MMI manually and look for "Restaurants" it will find what's close to you and list them if they are on the hard drive. If it's a new restaurant, or a new address, it won't find it.

Kinda pissed that Audi has no way to fix this for our cars since this is one of the main reasons I bought it.
I've been looking into finding a "Google Play" to where I can use my phone to find things and display it on my MMI. Any suggestions ?
