Picked up a CPO 2013 a6 in April and finally got around to contacting Sirius to get a free trial (figured I could ask for one as I never have had an account before). I asked for a 6 month free trial, person came back saying I was all setup for a 48 month trial. Did I miss something? 48 > 6 correct? Sounds too good to be true. Happy as long as this is legit. Used online chat on their website. Hope this helps someone!

Audi includes free Sirius Traffic only for 48 months, not radio. The free trial for Sirius radio is 3 months. And T-Mobile Audi Connect free trial is for 6 months. All of these are for new car purchases only unless the previous owner on a used car did not cancel or transfer to another car.

Sirius Traffic integrates with your nav by displaying traffic conditions on major roads and traffic problem reports available on the MMI screen.

I got the $28 for 5 month deal. They called me with the offer right up front. Honestly, the sound quality sucks so bad on Sirius, I wouldnt pay any more than that. I use it mostly for news and talk radio only.

to get traffic, chat or call Sirius, they'll probably just give it to you for 4 years like me. tell them you just got a (new to you) car. to follow up on my story above, I did get 4 years of traffic for free and have just gotten 3 months of radio for free. Hope to get one of the good offers above ($28 for 5 months) after that 3 months is up. thanks for clarifying the traffic mix up.

Sirius music trial started when my car was sold, Audi Connect when it was delivered to me in the US. Guess which one ran out before I could use it? Guess which company will get $0 from me? Seems pretty short-sighted, but there you have it.
