Driver side vent blows less air compared to passenger side

On my (UK facelift) car with 4-Zone, if you press the fan button you can then adjust the fan speed for left and right using the temperature ***** to take it off Auto and I think if you go into AC options in MMI then you can do the same for the rear. My previous car had the 2 zone system and the only real difference for the purposes of this discussion was a single fan speed control rather than a left and right as with the 4-zone system

My far right vent went out on my A8, at least it didn't blow very hard if at all. I brought it in and found out that the motor that adjusts the air from the windshield, for defrost, to the vent, for AC, went out. My manufacture's warranty expired a week earlier but the extended warranty paid for it, $932.00 for parts and labor.

OP, It looks like I have the same problem as you (no air from outboard passenger vent). Since your repair fixed it, was it the same PN as listed previously? I'm hoping to DIY, since my 2013 is outside warranty. The defroster motor you mentioned sounds different from the vent assy PN.
