I ordered the Dakota grey after travelling to a bunch of dealers so I could see all the available colors (at least the ones I was interested in - I hate black and white because they are always dirty). I do wonder why they call it grey; it definitely would be more appropriate to call it Dakota brown or Dakota taupe, because (at least in the sun) it is clearly a brown color.
I'll be meeting it in Ingolstadt in 2 weeks! Can't wait!

The color is great. In the shade it looks gray and in the sun it looks like pewter, similar to the helmets of the Tampa Bay Bucs.
I have never had anyone compliment a vehicale color of mine like they have this color.

I get many compliments with this Dakota Grey colour since it looks unique from other car colours out there (for now). Although, I notice more females like this grey/taupe colour than my male friends/colleagues. But everyone seems to compliment the unique LED headlights. Hopefully, no one copies Audi like they did with the LED running lights.

This image ia a good representation of the color at its brightest (most direct sunlight). What is great about the color is the degree to which it changes with different levels of light. I had to actually visit a dealer to see this color live before I really liked it. None of the images that i found on the web were that attractive, as most of the time the pictured looked either gold or a drab grayish taupe.
