Default Curbed wheel

Did this today. I felt sick to my stomach. I like how I had an Infiniti for four years and never scratched my wheels, and I was able to do this within the first month. Sigh.

Ouch. Been there, done that. Take it to a reputable wheel repair shop - they should be able to make it look like new. Been there too. About $150ish.

Ouch - yeah, I feel your pain. When I got my new CTS back in 2008 I promptly curbed a wheel within the first month or so.

Luckily, there was a really good mobile repair place that came to me and did the work - and my damage wasn't as bad as yours. I think it ran about $150 like snagitseven says, so the good news is that it's not -too- much of a costly mistake! Looks like you didn't get it too bad, either.

I had a few minor similar scrapes on my 5 Arm Rotors and bought the wheel insurance. Audi dealer did a great job and no cost!!!!!

Once you get passed that "holy crap, what the hell did I just do!?" grief stage, and after it's repaired, you will be back in business and everything in the world will be good again (more or less..). Just don't do it again - the second time around you'll feel even worse. Believe me, I know.
I have a very intimate relationship with my wheel repair shop but it's mostly due to potholes. Wheel rash is merely a sub-category for me.

Ouch!

Nothing hurts more than the first scratch/chip/ding.

Back in 2003 I bought my first "nice car", a new BMW 330i. I was so excited, I got in it, pulled out of the dealer parking lot and as I did, hit the curb on the way out. I hadn't even had the car 5 minutes and the wheel was curbed. I feel you pain buddy!

Watch out, make sure whoever you go to can match the finish!

I did that earlier this year. brought it to the dealer who had an independent guy do it, estimate was $60-$120 depending on the damage. He fixed the damage, but he could not match the finish. So you can see where it was if you look at the wheel. Oh and I only ended up paying $70, but I think that was because of the finish.

Unfortunately I do not have a pic of the damage, but I will upload a pic of the repair tonight when I get home.

Yeah luckily a lot of what you see in the picture is paint. It's not horrible and I'll get it fixed soon enough.
