Default Centerd dash speaker buzz/rattle

Anyone else have this issue? Mine seems to be worst when listening to talk radio with heavy mid-range, even at low volume the speaker is rattling pretty badly.

Its under warranty, but is this a rapaiable thing or just a design flaw I should try and fix with dynamat?

What's your MMI version? I seem to recall this was one of the "fixes" in one of the various MMI update threads?

Regardless I'd ask it to be fixed - especially if you can demo it for the SA, do it.

yes i too have the same issue, but even when the radio/media player is off. The noise kinda sounds like radio interference; i thought it was my cell phone, but happens intermittently....

Mine is clearly speaker rattle against the speaker cover, during heavy midrange like talkshows. I can put my hand on the cover and it stops buzzing...

Yes I also have this, I listen to a lot of podcasts. I have to turn the volume to a silly low level to combat it.

Nice, thank you!

I am thinking of trying that. Ive had speaker rattle before in other cars, adn the dealers typically just replace the speaker, which is not the issue!

Additional you can use felt between the grid and holder. In the picture both are still "untreated"

The center grill of my B&O system had a resonance and the dealer fixed it by applying some damping material. They said they had seen the issue on other C7 cars.
