Nothing wrong with blacked out cars. And what if all owners were in fact teens? What would it matter? Why? Let those with blacked out cars enjoy their blacked out cars without futile judgement.

All those darn whippersnappers in their M5s and 911s with blacked out trim, not to mention those hipsters driving their vintage e30 or e36 3-series and their Audi Quattros. So cheap and juvenile...

That's why I qualified my response with it being my opinion

Well obviously we disagree, but without contrast, you lose definition in the grill and lose the shape of the grill. IMO, the grill is one of the defining things for Audi's.

Forgot about this thread. We agree on the grill defining the car, but there are ways to provide definition without chrome. Our views are "colored" by comparing a light to dark car. Its obviously harder to contrast a black grill against a dark exterior.

May I ask why you did not change the Audi logo black, too, if you don't like the chrome? Just curious, no bad intention at all.

I kinda like the logo to stand out onto the black background; Im not crazy for the entire thing blacked out, there needs to be some sort of contrast lol
