This is extremely compelling at the price point it's at.

I'd bet on it keeping the BPVs closed. Unfortunately, without a boost gauge, theres no way for me to know. None of my data loggers can view boost on VW/Audis (or KR, which really bothers me). I'm gonna take a look later and see if the Dashhawk will read the MAPs.

"Better yet, I wanna get out and do some brake torqued runs with the TCS off and see if I can break into the low 4's."

If it were me, I would do a couple more "Speed Runs"--before and after--just to confirm what you are seeing. But I'd be really hesitant(wouldn't do it!) to suddenly throw all that much extra HP into the drive train and take a chance of breaking something. Just a thought.

Already working on it. Trying to get a few logs for TTDyno. My tools are having a rough time with the Audi computer though. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. They read some parameters, but not the ones I want.

Can I do a log with VCDS and export it to a CSV format? If I can, that may be the smartest way to go.

I'm really not worried about the drivetrain. Its basically the same stuff as used in the A8 4.0T and S8, both of which have way more power.

I don't understand the inconsistency in the Drag Strip 8.49 seconds and 80.68mph, vs the much faster 0-80mph and a time of 7.02 seconds--nearly 1 1/2 seconds difference for only 0.68mph difference.

Because I lifted. I lifted at about 75 and the rest is just inertia making it go faster. By that point it must have just been coasting instead of still accelerating.

What is the tool you used to do the logging? It looks like a phone app. Is it?

The one that I posted the screenshots from? Yeah, thats Pocket Dyno for the iPhone.

I don't use that for logging though. For logging I normally use an MSD DashHawk or DiabloSport inTune. Also occasionally Torque Pro for my Nexus 7, when I remember to bring the tablet and OBD-2/Bluetooth adapter with me, or EngineLink on my iPhone when I have the OBD-2/WiFi adapter. I have way too many data loggers.

Default Compelling

I just got the GIAC Stage 1 ECU tune over the Christmas break. I wonder what performance gains from THIS and the ECU upgrade would do?

Could anyone check that??
