I bought this for wife's RX and it works great.

Been thinking about one for my A6 as well but personal don't have the phone out much when I drive.
Spacing looks good though based on where the DVD slot is. Especially if you have a phone that supports landscape mode as well.

I just got my brand new A6 with wood trim just like yours, and I was looking for a suitable mobile holder, I found the solution that you have posted is fantastic, however; I checked the website of Pro and noticed they have mentioned that this accessories is suitable only for Aluminum trip and not for wood! My question is, have you found any problem installing it on the wood trim? Have you encountered any problem after the installation?

Proclip mount.
Thinking of getting one for my CPO S6 with wood trim, did you have any problems with long term durability using the console mount ? Thanks !

I've all but stopped using the car's built in GPS mostly because of how useful Waze is. I use the A-Pillar mount. It lines up nicely with the HUD at the eye level if you have that option.
