Default Bird in grill

Just curious if anyone knows of a quick and easy way to remove the grill on the C7? I hit a bird a couple of days ago and just realized (thanks to the stench) that the remains are inside of the grill sitting between the grill and the radiator. I have no way to reach it and can't even get a screwdriver down there to poke it around. The only way I can see to get to the bird is to remove the entire bottom air-dam or the grill.

Anyone had something similar to this happen?

the black plastic piece on top of the area between the grill and the radiator is easy to remove. pop out the two pins and unclip it.

I put a bird to an early death this morning. Thought for sure my lower drivers side grill was going to be destroyed (forgot the true name). Luckily I can't really tell where I hit it.

Like Sgroer said, there are two small clips on the plastic tray that sits under the hood and over the grill. Once removed there is a huge gap that will allow you to clean out tweety. I used a small flathead screwdriver tip to pop the clips so I didn't destroy them.

Perfect, thanks folks. I must have missed those clips before. I'll take another look this evening. The odor of the garage is really getting fowl...

What the heck is going on here? Between all the bird hits and the thread where a turkey attacked feArmE's A6 (https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2850432), I'm beginning to wonder if this is a precursor to a real life version of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds".

It is kind of crazy. I hit another bird a couple weeks ago with my wife's Pathfinder. Stupid thing grazed the top passenger side windsheld. I think it lived, but still. I took out a squirrel with the A6 I think in the same area where I hit a bird yesterday. (3rd squirrel in my lifetime). My buddy hit a bird and some how the birds face and beak were pointing out of the grill as if it turned around to die. He had a lincoln with a big chunky grill so it looked like he placed it there.

I will leave you all with this. My windows in my office have some arborvitaes in front of it and a building with gutters across the way. Windows are reasonably clean and birds hang out on the gutter. You can connect the dots. Every day I get a couple bangs on the windows. That is always fun entertainment.
