Does anyone have any experience with the BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S in 245/45R18, the OEM size for a 2016 A6 Prestige? It's not listed as available on Tirerack.com or BFG's site. Tirerack said the tires are rated for standard load and Audi recommends extra load for the A6. Does this mean the tires cannot handle the weight of the A6?

Yeah, the XL rating indicates that particular tire carries extra reinforcement. Probably not a great idea to deviate from it if the Owner's Manual tells you XL is required at that given tire size.


Many of Audi's standard tire sizes do call for the XL rating.

I have, got it from regular tire shop chain store. So far so good, slow driving sounds like heated slicks
