Audi A6 power
So i had a new 2004 A8 for 8 years and the quality of that vehicle forced me to purchase another audi. I did not need the size of the A8l any longer. that said i let my new a6 get to 1000.00 miles before i gave it a ride. 1-120 today came faster than i had ever done it the A8. Really effortless and i cant wait to get a tune, I am going to do alot of reading on the forums before i decide what company to go with.

Congrats on the pick up. Please share some more info about your A6 and I'd love to see some pics. As far as I know there aren't many tune options availble yet.

Meh, through a pulley on the blower an intake and a tune once it comes out and albeit it gives the s6 a run for its money (kidding guys)
seriously, i dont get tired of the power! i wish under load i heard a bit more of the super charger but a pulley and intake should help with that. Any guesses with power gains for the combo? i would say respectively a good 30-35 Whp

The quote I received from ABT was 3800 euros. I am in Germany with a US Spec A6. That is somewhere close to about 5000 USD. The problem so far is that according to them I will have problems upon bringing the vehicle back to the US with tune. I am curious to know if going through customs if they do some kind of check to see if any tunes or additions were made to the engine or ecu?

I was quoted $7,400 US. The ABT dealer is also the Audi dealer in the UAE. They also claimed that it would void the warranty from Audi which doesn't make sense.
I doubt they check the ECU in customs but it may affect your warranty when you import to US

I contacted a local Audi dealership here in Pennsylvania. They are a Stasis i believe that is spelled correctly dealer. I take my car after putting 5,000 miles, they keep the car for 4 days and pull the ECU and send it out to be tuned. Cost is $1500.00 and expected HP rises to 380. I have read on the S4 forum about a company called REVO-tek and they do a tune and sell you a tool that you can take back and forth between stock and upgrade with a simple switch on the tool. they want $1000.00 for the tune. I am sure there are more coming.

I will have to check and see if it will void the warranty. The German Audi dealership had ABT stuff all over the place while I was at the dealership. So I would have to say it is not a warranty issue here.

I only ask because Motor Trend's review of the A7 said that it had much better steering than the A6. Since they are mostly the same technology wise (especially with the "electromechanical" steering setup) I thought it might be able to be improved via software upgrade.
