I thought once you set the PIN, it should never ask again. However, mine asking me PIN from time to time when I try to search online destinations. Also I noticed at that point it lost my home address which I stored.
Have you had this problem and solved anyone?

I had all sorts of issues with my Audi Connect account when first set up. Took a few weeks, several calls to Audi and eventually setting up a new Audi Connect account, but it finally works. Audi back end IT is so screwed once you delete an Audi Connect they can not purge it to use again, but you will never get that account back. Audi will tell you to reset your MMI, but I never had to do that step. It is clearly something with their backed IT.

I am averaging one per month to reset the PIN. The first time is a pain because you are on the road and the PIN is in a file at home - now I carry the PIN in the car.

So it is abnormal to ever have to reset it? I just thought that it defaulted to require a reset after a certain duration.

I talked to Audi people and they said you should set your PIN only once. And yes they asked me to reset MMI. and I did and a few days later it asked me me PIN again. driving me crazy!

I ran into this issue last year and after talking to Audi several times to try all kinds of things to no avail, I found on my own, the only solution that worked for me. I "Deactivated My Account" in the My Profile page (not the "Disable Online Services" on the setup page) and started over with my VIN etc. to get a new PIN which I entered in the MMI. Since then, I've never been asked to reenter the PIN.

Note that you can't reuse the original myAudi email address to activate the new account - once entered with a VIN, it's in their database and can't be reused (I created a different email address with my provider just for Audi Connect). Also be sure to update the new email address if you use "Send to Car" in Google Maps or the "Send to Car" phone app.
