I broke one of my studs as well but there are a bunch of them. I'm sure it wouldn't make a difference if I reinstalled it. The dead pedal is a pain to remove and install because it hooks under the kick panel as well as the studs pushed through the carpet.

A dab of white grease on the 2 rubber prongs on the back of the brake pad make it snap onto the pedal easy. Same as the factory does.

Here are the audi ones I installed on my a6.

The gas pedal slips over the existing pedal. The brake pedal and dead pedal are removed and replaced with the new ones. Pretty self explanatory.

How do you remove and replace the seat buttons? Do they just pull out?

Any tactile difference between these and the stock pedals? With wet shoes? These look like they would be a pain to keep looking clean.

Got the ebay one for $82.80 shipped and shipping was fast about one week. They are very good quality. I installed them today using the factory instruction.

I did this install over the weekend and unfortunately I botched it. I should have come to this thread and opened the PDF but didn't think installing pedals would have been this difficult and I had done a similar install on my BMW 535 without much of a hitch. This was WAY harder, specially the dead pedal. I pushed the top clip back to get the pedal out and slid the pedal out to remove it, then when I pushed the new one in I about slit my finger in half because the aluminum is super sharp. A razor blade basically. I then pushed the clip back to make it go into the little box but bent it too much and now it's not "holding" everything tight in place and worse, there's a rattle when I go over any non-smooth surfaces. I'm considering following the instructions to uninstall, fix the clip and re-install this. Any other ideas before I spend two hours doing this? not sure I can tighten the clip with the pedal already installed right?

thanks
