Had my A6 TDI in for the 5k mile service and Audi performed a software update...thus taking out about half of my VAG-COM changes. Lap Timer, gone. Seat Belt reminder off, gone. Foot and trunk opening, gone.

Haven't looked to see what version the TDI is running now, but be aware of that when you take yours in for service.

Haven't had time to try yet. 4 month old children can be so time consuming

Can VAG-COM activate foot and trunk opening for MY12?

OK...so, I reactivated the changes in VAG-COM. It seemed that most changes by Audi were in the 09 CENT ELECT & 17 INSTRUMENTS modules. Seat Belt, Lap Timer, etc.

Not sure if you can activate the Foot Release in a '12 A6 or not. Mine is working again; not sure if that was a VAG-COM change or just the system being finikey.
