During our heavy snow here in the Midwest this year, I cracked off a portion of my left front (leading edge - in front of the tire) plastic fender liner.
Any ideas on:
a) best way to identify the part number
b) best (cheapest) place to buy it . . . hey it's a fender liner, I could care less if it's a cheap "knock off" part

If you're in a large metro area, call around to the local salvage yards. If you're in a less populous area, try to find a eBay vendor dismantling a A6. I would stick to a used OEM part. Some of the knock offs for other makes are very poor quality and fitment.

Audi parts on line have it. Cost of $126.00. I have ordered from them before and they are a nice company to deal with.

I see 2, but from your description think I know which you are talking about. LF one that is more of a tire spoiler and on the bottom of the fender liner is 4G0-853-887-C for 74.40 and in stock. The larger fender liner that fills up the wheel well area is 4G0-821-133-D for 115.95 and about 3 days away, plus shipping out to you.
