Not exactly. This is a prepaid scheduled maintenace agreement, not a warranty coverage. Per the published maintenance schedule, services should be done at each 10K miles or 12 months after the last service, whichever comes first. The 55/65 Audi Care Select can be purchased any time after the 45K service and therefore, the 55K would need to be done 10K miles or 12 months after the 45K service and the same for the 65K/12 month service.
So, the Audi Care Select would be good for 20K miles or up to 2 years total after the 45K service. At that time, the 75/85K Audi Care Select could be purchased if desired.

Note that starting for MY2017, the first paid service is at 20K vs. the 15K miles of the older models.

I believed both of my AudiSelect for both vehicles were good for 4 years from the date of purchase of the coverage (not the vehicle) and was able to get my last "free" maintenance up to one year after my vehicle warranty ended.

Heh heh - that's why TDI is king!

Vbelt? Nope.
Spark plugs? Nope.

That's $300 in service right there

the 55k service can be done at home if you are a DIYer. Parts should cost about $200 if that (plugs, belts, oil and filter, air filter AC cab filter). Should take about 4 hours of work. no VAG com needed (except for the computer service reminder reset)

Oil & filter...at the dealer probably $100-200

Supercharger belt...$200
Snow screen cleaning...$50
Misc checks...$???
Maybe brake fluid flush depending on time.
Sounds about right if they do everything.
It's the labor that gets ya. Oil and filter kits online with better than dealer oil are $60-$70 if you are a DIY kinda guy. Same for air filter only $20.
Spark plugs and the belt might be harder depending on your level of DIYidness.
An indy shop will definitely save on labor if you have a good one in your area.
I'm a huge DIY kinda guy. For those who can follow DIY posts and have some mechanical skill, cost can be greatly reduced. Even Indy shops can take care of many of these at half the cost. You may just need to take car to dealer to reset engine service light afterwards, maybe 50-ish for the reset based on my last request to reset at dealer (before I had vagcom).

HA! ... yeah for those that don't want a very peppy take-off.
Sorry, I'm not into turbos.. I'm a supercharger enthusiast!!!
Personal opinion/preference obviously.

Each application has it's uses. And to each their own. Regarless.. both powerplants are fun

Yes, your dealership service department will be where you would get this.

You may be confusing the original Audi Care (for the first four services) or the older Audi Care Plus (three subsequent services) with the recently changed Audi Care Select which is for any two services after the 45K (i.e. 55/65, 65/75 or 75/85K mi.). None of these are related to the warranty. I can only reference what the Audi Care Select document states.

Your pricing is a little over the top. I'll give you my breakdown as I'll hit 55K in less than 9000 miles.

NGK iridium laser-- $45(ebay)
Audi Supercharger belt-- $27(ebay)
Mahle air filter-- $30(rockauto)
Generic cabin filter--$10(rockauto)
Royal Purple HPS oil-- $56 (7 quarts)(ebay)
Fram cartridge oil filter-- $3 (rockauto closeout)
Total--- $171.
I don't have to worry about labor as I do it myself. Prolly looking at a 4 hour job and that's including beer breaks. If a shop charges $100/hr for labor, one is looking at out the door cost of around $600. So actually the Audi Care price of $800 is not a bad price at all considering it saves you the hassle of having to buy all the products and having to look for a shop to do it as well.
