A Winter Care Care Tip to Avoid Squeaks
Ever since the temps here in CT dropped below 50F, my car has developed a series of interior squeaks near the doors, windows and B-pillar. I brought the car back to Danbury Audi and they spent substantial time trying to diagnose the source (including one tech road trip, one with the shop foreman and finally one with me driving and the tech in the back seat). "A" for effort!
Unfortunately, even after "lubricating the door and window seals", the noises were still there.
I took a quick look in my garage and found a Wurth Rubber Care Gel Stick I had bought some years back. I used this on all door, window and trunk seals/weatherstripping. Voila! No more squeaks. Anywhere!
Nice to have my car back to "day-of-delivery" tightness as opposed to sounding like a 20 year-old POS

Wurth Rubber Care Gel Stick
