Default ADS

Does anyone here have any experience of how the damper rates are configured in ADS compared to the fixed damper rates in current cars? I'm thinking about the S5 in particular.

Also what else does ADS allow you to configure?

Default From the B8 A4 info, but should be the same for the A5.

ADS allows settings for the dampers, steering, and engine/transmission (if tip).

Default Thank you!

I have PASM on the Porker and in "normal" it handles and rides for the most part in a way that you would want it to. But "sport" is too stiff for the road and too stiff for some tracks as well.

I wonder how long it will be before the A/S5 gets proportional power adjustment that will allow you to adjust how much power goes to front and rear wheels?

Default I've read that exact same about PASM. "...too stiff in sport mode."

I doubt the Audi will be nearly as stiff as the Porsche.

I honestly think Audi will never have a manual front/rear "proportional power adjustment" in the longitudinal motor cars since the center diff is completely mechanical. I suppose it could theoretically be done in the Haldex equipped cars. For now we make do with the 60/40 split. :-)

The only thing Audi has on the table right now is the "sport differential" which varies power left/right to the rear wheels. AFAIK this will also be configurable in ADS when it becomes available.

Audi Sport differential article

These are great graphs. They provide good insights as to how we should expect ADS to behave.

Where did they come from?

Thanks,
