Attention A5/S5 Forum...Good news coming
I have run commission numbers for alot of you on the forum waiting for cars. The bottom line is 2008s are done.
A few days ago, Audi Dealer Council approached Audi AG in Detroit about the problem with lack of inventory. Alot of dealers have made big investments in training and facility this year. Even though Audi is getting substantially more for these cars elsewhere. They have assured us that they will get us allocation. I would expect a substantial allocation for the first 2009 build cycle which is April 15th. I would not expect to hear anything before then. But I would assume a large chunk of cars will get pulled. Hope this lifts somes spirits..hang in there....

Can they up the price on you in this case?
I ordered in October and looks like I'll be getting an 09 model given delays. So what happens if the 09 models are priced say 5% higher for the base model - do you get the contractual rate you signed up for last year (which I assume you should) or can they stuff you with the new pricing?
Personally, I think they could put 10% on the base S5 if they wanted, the car is a steal at the current price.
