Color opinion & help..... magma red, black or silver interior??
I have been set on ordering (which I have alrady done) my S5 in Ibis White with Magma red interior and carbon atlas interior. After leaving the dealership I noticed there is a listed option for Alcantara seat inserts, which has always really appealed to me for the look and the fact wearing shorts in the summer would be nicer on the seats instead of your legs sticking to it if they are wrapped in all leather. I inquired and asked to add the option to my order and I was told that magma red interior cannot come in Alcantara, only black and silver.
I am not sure now since I cant really imagine accurately what this will do to the overall look of the car. Does anyone have either of these interiors they could take a few shots for me, even better yet if the exterior is Ibis White. Has anyone seen this option yet or feel I should just forgo the alcantara and stick with my original selection, which I love as all the demo cars have this interior and it looks stunning. I am particularly curious what a silver alcantara interior with black leather accents will look like on an Ibis white exterior.
Any help is appreciated!

for what it's worth, the alcantara is only on inserts, where your legs sit is still leather
you can get an idea of what it would look like on the audiusa.com configurator.

My 2 cents is the full leather is much nicer. I have leather seats
in my S4 and they do not get too hot when wearing shorts. Plus keeping the full leather clean is a breeze comnpared to the alcantara. I do agree about the look, but I would stay away from the silver unless you like cleaning it all the time.
I'd go Ibis and full black, that is stunning, espically if you tint the windows.

I really like the alcantara too, but I would caution about getting the silver
alcantara seat inserts. My fear is that they would end up looking very grubby over time.
I wanted the black & silver option with alcantara, but decided on red finally.
But black and silver leather option would probably look very sharp too!

I think you guys dont fully understand what alcantara is....
For those who fear grubbiness or lots of cleaning.... Alcantara is a man-made ultra suede. There are two types... general fabric and then there is an automotive grade. The automotive grade fabric is meant to not stain, fade, tear or wear bald like you think a traditional organic suede would. I have little fear of it becoming grubby as I am not sure I would be going in and out of the car all dirty anyhow. Now if there is something I am wrong about or left out, please someone correct me, but this is how it was explained to me (not by the Audi dealer)
RS4-380, you make a good point and hadnt thought about it... but i guess where your legs would be would end up being leather anyhow, lol.
So how about those pics guys... anyone help me find a few of this stuff (real cars)

I went with alcantara and have no regrets at all
I have received more compliments on the seats than anything. I have always had leather but I am 100% in love with Alcantara in comparison. They feel better than full leather to me, they hold you in the seat better, and they look better imo. I really can't speak to much on maintenance personally but so far so good. Camry's, Accords, hell even a focus can be ordered with leather (not to say their quality is as good as Audi's). To me the alcantara is a unique sporty look that really fits the personality of the car. The dealer I bought my car from had a Phantom Blk Demo with Blk Leather and almost ever person at the dealership from the sales and service people to customers thought the alcantara looked better when the 2 cars were side by side.
Not an Ibis but here are some pics of my interior which is black alcantara. Not the greatest quality but it should give you an idea. I have a few more pics on my picture poster but not too many more interior. Hope this helps with your decision.
