Snow Tires Again-sorry!
Ok, so a little snow is OK on the OEM tires, but here in Cleveland, it is snowing a lot and I nearly put Claudia into a pickup truck (no tail lights the jerk!). Please tell me what success you have had with brands and sizes. Dealer told me of a tire and wheel package for $1700 with 18" Blizzak's.

Not a bad deal, really
I got the Blizzak LM-25 225/45/18 tires on MSW Type 15 wheels with the Tire Pressure Monitors for $1550-ish delivered from TireRack.
The depending on which Blizzaks and which wheels, the dealer's price may not be that bad.. If they are nice OEM rims and have the TMPS installed, $1700 is reasonable.
I'm originally from Cleveland and I'd never consider running summer tires in the winter there.. Even if the roads are dry the cold temps will make the performance tires MUCH less grippy. Get some snow tires on that thing before we have to cringe at pictures of your car all wrinkled!

Totally depends on the rims. I ordered a rim/tire package from TireRack...
18" rims (ASA AR2) with Dunlop Wintersport 3D tires.
IIRC, the package was ~$1800 shipped to my dealer.
That included TPMS sensors.
Well worth it IMO (rather than switching tires back and forth).

I got 18" Sport Edition wheels w/Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds
for $1,600-ish delivered to CT (includes mounted TPMS sensors). They are great tires (even in the dry) and I think the wheels look pretty sharp, IMHO!

Michelin Pilot Sport AS
My dealer swapped out the stock performance tires for Michelin Pilot Sport AS as I did not want get new wheels and dedicated snows. Tires have been fantastic, and we have had a lot of snow in MN. They are also quiet.

I put Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds on the OEM wheels. Not sure I like them since ...
the back end slid out on me on an off ramp today. Don't think it was ice or sand and I wasn't going at a speed the car couldn't handle. Jury is still out.
I had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S on my Maxima SE and loved the tires!

Getting the Dunlop's today, maybe I'll send a pic...
so you can see them on the Grey. Dealer ended up having a very select few tires on hand, so I got the Dunlops. Includes the TMPS though.
Folkie, where are ya now? You are right about the Cleveland winters. I hope I never post a pic with "wrinkles" on Claudia!
Thanks for all your input!
