Default phone jack next to the e-brake

Hi guys,
I have a 1996 A4 2.8Q. There is a phone jack next to the ebrake right under the center arm rest. I was wondering if that is some how connected to the microphone that is on the A-piler. If so do you know which wires connect to the microphone? reason I am tring to install the bluetooth hands free kit from motorola HF850. And if that phone jack is connected to the microphone then I would like to use that, instead or put an external microphone that came with the kit. I am hope the factory microphone is as good as the one included in the HF850 install kit.

Default Yes..

The phone jack and microphone were designed for the built in cell phone that was an option on the Audi's. There are a number of articles in the tech section here where people have integrated other brand hands free kits into the factory system.
A couple of those articles have the pinouts of the factory system, and should be enough information for you to wire in your own.
