Ever wonder what the bi-xenon projector looks like?
Low beam:

High beam:
<img src="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y212/akula-ssh/img_3629.jpg">
Now you may wonder why I would take a perfectly good projector out of my just-arrived-at-my-door bi-xenon e-code. Well, just look at what Deutsche Post/Canada Post did to the used-to-be brand new box...
<img src="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y212/akula-ssh/img_3606.jpg">
So it was no surprise that one of the mounting tabs has snapped off:
<img src="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y212/akula-ssh/img_3620.jpg">
That's not too bad: common enough mishap. What was more annoying was that something broke loose inside the housing...
<img src="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y212/akula-ssh/img_3622.jpg">
Which came from here:
<img src="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y212/akula-ssh/img_3625.jpg">
I ended up taking out the projector to fix that, which is a pivot point for beam direction adjustment:

The zip tie seems to be holding the pivot fine; sure hope it is!

The thing is, I'm not sure who to throw a fit at...
If it was shipped using, say, DHL, I can hop into DHL and scream at them. With it being Deutsche Post though, the package changed hands, so I cannot just go scream at Canada Post, for it may not have been entirely their fault, and it's not like I can go scream at Deutsche Post...
The DIY idea came through last night when I was having trouble falling asleep thanks to a stupid cold/flu... :P

Ouch! Right where it hurts.
Hello mate,
Happy new year. If you paid with/via a credit card the card company might cover you for the damage.
Looks like they might be repairable though.
German Ebay?
