Sorry Autovation 8^(....Had to switch ya out for AWE :)...
Even though I jumped on the Autovation Pedals back last spring (and they are very good pedals), I was tempted by the attractive price of the AWE pedals...So what the hell, I pulled the trigger.
Let me tell you, these pedals are pretty awesome...From my initial trial (in my garage), they are damn grippy...About 100% more grippy than the Autovations and 200% more than stock...Can't wait for tomorrow morning for some spirited driving 8^)
Well here's some pics and my take at some install pointers, over and above the AWE installation instructions....My total INSTALL TIME = 90 min.
First of all, the AWE pedals were packed very nicely in a classy box & packing material...Great, but who needs the box. Oh well.

A few notes:
0. To prevent frustration of the rubber nubbies from popping off while driving...
See my Follow-Up Post
1. I decided to keep the Autovation Dead Pedal for continuity of the "Aluminum-Look"...The match isn't perfect but pretty decent.
2. When I removed the Autovation Clutch Pedal, the bottom bolt hole was in the exact position as the AWE Clutch Pedal bottom bolt hole, so I just used the same hole and used the bolt/washer/nut fastening method as the Autovation Pedal used. (See last pic)
3. To actually drill the holes perpendicular to the clutch, brake & gas pedals, you need to remove the lower dash panel to gain clearance for the drill...Not to worry, it's very easy (3 bolts only).
4. There was some previous concern (S4 forum Post) that the pedals did not fit flush to the curvature of the three raw pedals...While this is true (see the S4 forum Post), I merely, and ever-so-slightly worked an arc (bent them carefully) to match the curvature of the raw pedals. I used a rubber mallet round surface as a backing to the pedal to form the arc and eventually got to where they were near perfect...A word of caution though, is NOT TO BE IMPATIENT or you'll bend them to much and mar the aluminum finish...This would not be good, so work the curve slowly...Here are a couple pics of the installation profile...See, they are pretty flush :^)
