Tsyndr posted a nice pic/writeup - it's a piece of cake...
...and as myaudi said, he installed his in about 15 minutes. I have one LED left, so if you're interested, email me.

door panel removal

Props to Ken & his "Club Blue Mod".....I is now in da club !!!
First of all, KenK in TX is great... His idea of club blue is awesome and when he offered them to whom wanted his extra bulbs, I inquired and was ready to PayPal'em. He on his own sent them out for Nada, zelcho, gratis !!! Again, super dude !
Well anyways, this was a pretty straight forward mod for the flashing Alarm LED...It illuminates the cabin in a cool blue LED flashing light that replaces the stock dim red LED...Frankly I think it is a show stopper w/o being ricey.
Here are the steps to the mod:
1. Club Blue LED as pre-assembled by KenK in TX.

2. Carefully pop the door trim.

3. Remove screws to remove door panel then carefully pop each surrounding clip to remove door panel. Then disconnect wire harness for door panel electronics and speaker wire harness. Next disconnect door latch cable.

4. Locate LED holster and red LED harness and snip off wires leaving ample wire left for reconnection.
5. Dig out red LED, wire & resistor from harness.

6. Mount new "Club Blue" LED, wire & resistor into harness, then secure the entire assembly w/ hot glue gun. (Bad Pic/Outta focus)

7. Reattach "Club Blue" LED assembly back into LED holster and reconnect wiring...Red to black & Black/Red to Brown. I know the color coordination of wiring is bassakwards but that's how it is.
8. Finished Product.
