Default Fault code help...

My roomate is having a problem with his DV, it seems as though it is not functioning, we initially thought that the valve just needed to be lubed, so we lubed the valve and it still did not work, the valve is not venting as usual, I hooked up my vag-com and pulled some codes from the car, we got the following codes:

3 DTCs Found:
16395 - Cam-Timing Adj. Bank 1: Advance Setpoint Not Reached
35-10 - - - Intermittent
17887 - Brake Boost Vacuum System: Mechanical Failure
35-10 - - - Intermittent
17522 - O2S: B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High
35-10 - - - Intermittent

I also found a vacuum line that was frayed, but the vacuum line is located under the intake manifold so it was impossible to get to, he is bringing it into the dealer tommorow, but we were wondering if a vacuum leak would cause all of the above as well as the DV not functioning (as the DV is hooked up to a vacuum source)

Any help would be great, His car is at 49,600 miles so he is almost out of warrantee

Thanks

PS: The car is a B5 2001.5 a4 1.8t Tip
