How do I remove the ashtray
I think I have a coin stuck in my ashtray and it will not open fully. Does anyone know how to take it out so that i can remove the stuck coin?

hehe..... you have to remove the radio, then the a/c control unit, then ashtray can be removed.
I learned this the hard way. there is no other safe way to get it out.
I have heard that if someone pulls on the center console trim you can get ashtray out, but then almost impossible to get back in.

Oh Raistlin, so not true!!! I've taken mine out NUMEROUS times...
I had to take mine out in order to adjust my Neuspeed shifter easier. I would suggest taking off the shift ****, boot, trim, etc. Loosen the two bolts that hold the whole ashtray assembly tight. Disconnect connector for ashtray light. Slowly pull up and out. It's kind of a pain in the ***, but it will come out. You kinda have to navigate the passenger side up and out first. It's tricky, but like I said, it will come out. That's why I keep my change in the small place behind the lighter!!! Plus it won't slide around. Ashtray, that's where my Blitz Turbo timer is going in the VERY near future!

radio needs to come out, climate head unit, then ashtry...
the manual does call out pulling the radio/climate headunit. this is for US version interior, with dual climate and full length radio.

cost me $80 at dealer to have ashtray taken out and re-seated. sucks
it was for an XM radio install, i took ashtray out and couldn't get the damn thing back in.
didn't have radio removal tools at the time, so i had to pay them to do it.
they are correct though, need to take head unit out and then a/c. pretty dumb
