Pulling off my driver's side knee bolster the other day... something got stuck. I was tired and grumpy, so I did the exact wrong thing, and pulled/tugged on it until it came free. Specifically, BROKE free, breaking off a chip of the wood trim on either side of the steering column where the tabs must have been. I didn't even think that was possible!
So now I have two broken wood trim pieces... It doesn't look thaaat bad, and I can't see it from the driver's seat, but I'm pissed nonetheless!
Thoughts on fixes, or replacements? Is there a company that makes aftermarket trims that fit as well as OEM?
