My buddy just picked up an 08 GTI used, he took me for a spin earlier in the week. I was quite distraught that it was faster than my car. He took it to get chipped today, and found out it had already been chipped :) Now I feel better, but still damn thing with a chip is much faster than me with a bigger turbo etc.
