Default Temperature Is Low in Cabin.

In the last couple of months, the temperature has been cool in the car. I had the thermostat and two sensors replaced in the engine compartment. One is located behind the head, and the other is at lower radiator hose. The temp is still cooler than it used to be. Has anybody had this problem? A vag-com checked out ok. My car is a 2002 A4 1.8 Automatic. Thanks, Tony.

Default Reach up above your gas pedal...

after driving your car for a bit, until it reachs normal operating temp.

Then park it, shut off the ignition.

Then with your hand reach up and touch the black plastic parts above and to the left of the gas pedal.

This is where the heater core is.

The plastic should be rather warm-to-hot, so be careful!

Default Your not looking, but feeling for heat...

the heater core is right there, and it should be hot!

My guess, one of your electric flap motor drives is stuck...

Default You have air in your system

I had the same problem where the heat was cold even though the engine was at 90C. It was because of air in the heating system. Their should be a tsb on it.
