CVT owners: you might want to make sure the CVT fluid gets changed.
I asked my dealership if my CVT transmission fluid was ever flushed and replaced at 40K regular scheduled mainteance. That's when my maintenance manual says to change it (A4 2003 CVT sedan, not a cabriolet).
So they investigated and found it hadn't been changed at that time. They checked with AoA and supposedly that service step is still valid.
So I'm bringing my A4 back to have them change the CVT transmission fluid.
Many dealerships don't get many CVT's for service so they may overlook this or just not know. You might want to check your maintenance book and see if it's listed as service. Then check with your dealership and make sure they do/did that service. My dealership had to search the parts list of my service visit to verify it hadn't been done.

I just purchased a 2006 1.8T w/ CVT. My maintenance schedule incdicates every second oil change if I'm not mistaken.
