FWIW I've only been in the B8 A4 at the NY Forum and I've driven the A5. I ordered a B8 A4 ASAP after driving a B7 A4 for less than two years. For me...it's that much better. The new 2.0T alone will be worth it.

However as you indicate everyone has their own perspective on what something is worth to them. For some a $15k Focus is enough and $30k more for an Audi is insane to them.
