Doesn't the B8 have an idle clutch where it actually disengages the engine from the automatic transmission when the car isn't moving? I remember hearing about that in either the product into video or reading it in one of the AW features. If so then the car not brake torquing at all makes perfect sense - it's not supposed too!
In that case it's a smidge of good news, since the roll out acceleration is much closer to real world driving than brake torquing which is only applied to rental cars where I'm from.
