At least for the AWD wagons I'm interested in...

The BMW, fully tarted out is about $3-4K more than the 2.0T. The extra $3300 for the 3.2 puts it right in the same price band hypothetically at least since there's no V6 option with the Avant.

I'm sure the similar exercise on the sedan would be comparable.
