BLUE TOOTH UPDATE!!
It looks like Blue tooth and Voice control for the phone will be available for order NOW and will be part of the Technology Package for both engines and also the S4!!
The Technology package includes:
Bi-Xenon lights with Adaptive Feature
Memory for driver seat and mirrors
Color information display
Blue Tooth with Voice control (phone only).
This is good for the Sedan AND the Avant.
On the S4 Cab it will be part of the Bose system.
On the A4 1.8T and 3.0 Quattro Cab it will be a separate option.
There will be NO MORE A4 3.0 CVT CABRIOLET.
I thought you guys might want to know.

Re: BLUE TOOTH UPDATE!!
Any information about how Bluetooth will "look" when available? Based on what I read so far, Audi always requires some kind of mount to conntect the external antenna. In Europe this is either a separate mount near the glovebox or in the center armrest. Any idea how this will look in the US B7?

Most likely it will use the antenna already on the roof for Sat radio and Nav.
That antenna is non existent on the Euro models so no drilling and another antenna to be used.

hmmm....
Bluetooth uses your existing phone. It's basically just a handsfree technology. I have bluetooth on my phone and sync it with my computer. I can even place calls with via my computer without pulling my phone out of my pocket. Are you sure it uses any other antenna than the phone's?

OK, and on the other end?
What I was looking for is some details about how the phone will be connected (besides BT for voice). All I read is that there will be Bluetooth but everybody seems to assume that it's just like a Parrot or so. AFAIK, Audi does not like having a phone inside without an external antenna. Maybe that's different here in the US, I don't know. But it would be bad if all BT equipped cars would come with that ugly mount on the dash board and require an adapter kit for the phone.

This is how it will work...
You will be able to pull this information from either the Nav screen (if equipped with Nav+) or from your Driver's information display:
List of calls made
List of calls received
List of calls missed
Numbers that you have diales
Phone book from your SIM card.
All you will have to do (if you don't have Nav) is move up or down your left thumb wheel and click on it to the desire menu.
The button on the right of the steering wheel next to the volume control will be for the Voice Recognition for the Phone once you have put voice tag to each of your contacts.
