Default New Wheels - Pics

Here are a few pics of my new wheels. Champion RF62. Thanks to Dave and the guys at Wheel Enhancement. Just did the APR software, exhaust, Carbonio intake and Eurocode testpipe last week. Stasis coilovers are being installed on the 6th of Feb. Also have a black optic RS4 grill coming, and a carbon lip spoiler for the trunk. I'll take some better pics when it's dropped, and the ski racks are gone.

Default Are those 19"? Also, would you mind sharing how much $$$?

I really like those wheels, and that finish fits your car nicely. Are you running any spacers?

Thank you. Yes they are 19"s. Not using any spacers. Is there a way to send a private message. I don't mind sharing the price, but don't want to post it publicly.

Default The V70 R was fun, but had some issues...

Tons of turbo lag, but that comes with 300hp and 5 cylinders, the manual trans was not a Volvo strong point, the AWD was no Quattro, the hydraulic clutch cylinder blew out @ 20k miles, the seats were great, and the dealer we went to loved to work on the car, always gave us great loaners and we did not even buy from them.

In the end the sportiness of the R lost out to the room and German personality of the allroad.

Who is TJ, anyway?

Default You can click on my username in this post

to send me a personal email. I understand not wanting to post $ on the board, I guess mostly I want to know if you had to special order the color, or if they were in stock in the gunmetal/ anthracite/ whatever they call it finish. Like I said it looks great with the black, and I think it would work with the lt silver as well.

Default tj=threadjack :-)

thanks for the review. was thinking about it for the next car, would like something bigger than the b6 sedan and have always liked wagons. awd is a must, stick is a must but after that i was/am pretty open to suggestions. i saw a picture of the v70r and thought it looked like a very nice car. glad to hear opinions from someone who has driven both volvo and audi.
