Default Tell me I am crazy

Did anyone notice (coming from B6) that on the B7 when using the washer squirters for windshield that the wipers do not do a courtesy wipe 5 seconds post last wipe? What is this malarkey? I was quite pleased with that fancy addition to the B6. There must be a VAG code to change or something. I'm gonna give it a look see and figure this sucker out.

Default There's a vag code. I dont use it. I hate that feature. It just made my windshield messier...

by spreading those last tiny random drops all over without the proper lubrication of a full wet windshield. For some reason mine now gets it all pretty good on the first swipe. I had the delay on there for a bit and it still left as much as it wiped. Go figure. Maybe i'll try it out again. you'll find the code in the long coding helper IIRC. cheers! Mike

Default Speaking of wipers...

Does everyone's windshield washer nozzles spit out in 4 independent streams? I think this sucks. Why not a nice spray that covers the entire windshield?
Anyone know a way to fix this?
Replacement nozzles?

Default Second, during the winter you clean the windsheild, then five seconds later it dry wipes the salt.

It was really annoying in the B6, I'm glad its gone.

Default Re: Tell me I am crazy

Actually I like better without the last wipe. I think it just smeared an otherwise dry clear windshield when underway. Only provided slight benefit when not moving, IMO.
