I don't find that in practice with either of my 30V's. I've cruised all day long at varying speeds

from 70 to 115 MPH and can tell you that well before 90 MPH it seems like it starts to go off optimal speed/mpg balance but not by much. Driving 75 MPH I can get 28.5 MPG without even trying but too hard to drive that slow and 2-3 MPG is not a concern on short trips.

Anyone else want to chime in on their 30V and when MPG starts to drop off due to speed, etc.?
