    Still not a serious jump and not skinny compared to 225, my logic is sound.

    That number is WELL WITHIN the spec and ratings for your car. If you are driving an A4, then you are actually oversizing with the 225 anyway. So YOUR logic is flawed because this discussion is and has always been obviously relative to what the OEM suggestion is - and you admit that the 195 is OEM size for you above, so you are not, in fact, even going skinny - you are staying OEM - which is what I have always suggested.

    A 195 tire is not "skinny", it's still a damn thick tire. It is narrower than your 225, which is wider than oem. Thanks for proving my point.
