thinking about getting different software...
so ive got a Stratmosphere DV, Custom Eshaust, and a Greddy FMIC...thinking about switching out my Custom Revo software, any suggestions as to how much to sell this thing for? anybody wanna swap it? i wanna go for an X Chip how much does it run for?

why X-chip?
there was a post earlier that dahlback is now $499, and according to beejohn it performs better than his x-chip.
and they will make tweaks to work with exhaust and FMIC for even more hp id imagine. or go even further and get their injectors for a lil more hp and more torque.
juss another suggestion.

This is a question that has been running my mind recently. I'm getting a new Southbend...
clutch put in next week hopefully (pending on tax return) and was going to possibly chip. I always wanted the GIAC X but KMD advertised Dahlback for $499. Recommendations based on 01 MY?? BeeJohn, what is your experience?

unfortunately
when i switched from giac-x to dahlback i wasn't as informed on tuning as i am now. so i never logged timing, a/f, maf value differences between the two chips, only boost.
my experiences though: smoother driveability, you can hear the turbo sucking in air much more when you get on the throttle (better wastegate control)
completely stock, and a dahlback chip tuned for exhaust i was seeing a max of 166g/s. when i added my custom intake, and an n75k i saw 172g/s. a/f is steady, and neared 10.8:1 by redline with that setup.
since then i have added a clutch and apr exhaust with test pipe, no logs since then.
in conclusion, the k03/k04 borg warner turbos suck ***** and just blow hot air. but yes, i like my dahlback more than giac overall.
here are my boost logs, and my run from LACR(3,000+ ft above sea level, high winds, ran a 15.4 without exhaust/clutch):

is the Dahlback good for a daily driver? because this is my everyday car....
id keep the revo, im somewhat satisfied, but for everyday driving it has certain half throttle issues, and 499 isnt bad, any Dahlback retailers in SoCal?

I have it in my daily driver...
its very very smooth and powerfull, no holes or bucks.
One person w/ giac K04 (5 bar program) commented that it almost dosent feel like a turbo car. smooth and linear, yet quite powerfull (with my other mods im about as fast as his K04)
