my rear brakes are gone. i was thinking of puttting the b6a4 3.o rear rotors on. i think they'll fit but if the people with more experience can help me out, id appreciate it.

b5a4 rear rotor size is 245x10mm. b6a4 3.0 is 255x12mm.

not going to fit without brackets. I doubt there is 10mm of clearance in the caliper.

Rotors from A6 3.0L--4b0-615-601-b
Carriers from B6 A4 --8e0-615-425-a

A few people here have them, including me.
Also, u can upgrade to the S4 rear brakes, but u gonna need calipers,carriers, rotors and pads. Also u can add an additional upgrage with A8 rear rotors.....check the Tech on that one.

but i also did the A8 front upgrade at the same time, so i have no direct comparison of just the rears.

overall, i am extremely happy with the combined setup.

btw, using A6 rear rotors are 255x10mm NOT 255x12mm.

seems like a worthwhile upgrade for the rears, a lil more braking area but not enough change to mess with the bias too much

if anything, the B6 rears correct the front overbias after the A8 upgrade.
