    Dension Ice>Link:Plus • Head-Unit install:

    Parts/Tools needed:
    1. 10mm wrench (for disconnecting the battery)
    2. (4) AUDI/VW stereo removal Tools (can be done with 2, but it is a pain)
    3. Phillips screwdriver

    4. Dension Ice>Link:Plus package(check and make sure all contents are there)and mounting Clip of some kind (I used a ProClip) and it is what is at the bottom left of the following picture.

    INSTALL:

1.Pop open your hood and disconnect the battery(make sure you have correct radio code or you have safe mode only and that sucks).
2.Insert Stereo removal tools and pull H.U. out.

    3.Disconnect Power/Ground/and SVC plug

4.Pull the red plug on the right (only vertically placed plug), black (first of 3 plugs stacked) and brown (plug in middle). The following pictures show pulling the red and brown plugs.

    5.Connect Dension connector harness.

6.Connect black AUDI plug into Dension connector.

7.Run Dension wire with cradle connected to it through opening at pass. footwell.

8.Pull cradle cable through to connect to "ice>link connector" and place behind H.U.

9.Connect actual "ice>link connector" to the H.U. harness connector.

Now connect the cradle cable connector to the "ice>link connector."

10.Make sure all connectors are secure and tight.

11.Reconnect battery and test to make sure all is working after you have cleared safe mode with your radio security code.
12.Attach whatever mouting bracket you have purchased (I used a proclip-instructions a monkey could read).

13.Play around with your new toy.
