Default It's all good... Too bad they are still way too freaking much money..

Audi really should have a recall for that part, with the failure rates we are seeing. it's not like this is a wear part.. it's crappy electronics.. in this case, it IS a safety issue...

Default it makes quattro semi functional and the ABS non functional

so yeah... that does make it a safety concern.

Also... the document I just got regardnig this dated june 3 05 is ambiguous as can be... no part numbers... I had to dig those out of etka. The document mentions 96-01 A4's but early A4's dont use any of the repair kits listed.

Default It also disables any brake biasing.. so, you have too much rear brake, therefore..

in a panic situation, with NO abs, you also have way too much rear bias, and can swap ends way too easily.. I can easily lock the rear brakes (only) in my A6 Avant, which is a heavy rear ended car... a stomp of the pedal, I can lock all tires..

Default very kinky

I'd say thats worth the couple bills it costs to correct... that is unless you are comfortable with the system as it lies.
