Default UPDATE on my car!

Well I haven't posted lately, so I decided to give you guys an update. Last time I posted my car was running very strong at 13-15psi. Had raced a chipped s4 and pulled on it with ease. Well, about 2 weeks ago, I decided to take the car for a drive to the gym and ended up crashing it. A car had made an illegal lane change in front of me while I impacted the rear end of it at approximately 35+ mph. The other parties insurance has already covered all the damage. =)

The damage is new windshield, bumper, radiator, headlights, hood, fenders and radiator support. Good thing is, I'm upgrading once again! Parts to be installed are vented carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber fenders, carbon fiber trunklid, new Kerscher front bumper with CF splitter and new custom intercooler (by Racetec Engineering). The old intercooler that I had on was too restrictive for the new turbo so Russ at Racetec decided to custom fab a new intercooler flow matched to my new turbo. The piping was changed from 2" all the way around to 2.5" off the turbo to intercooler, then 2.25" IC outlet to throttle body, all hard piped. There will be (2) BOV mounts for the excess pressure that I will be running (28+ psi when tuned).

The car should be back in my hands in about a week and half where we will finish the tuning and have it ready for dubwar. I'm hoping to meet alot of you guys out there!

Default Well, not great about the accident, but great for the more mods. ;-P

Accidents aren't cool, but it sounds like it's going to work out okay.

Default They look cast don't they...

The welds are so clean that they look cast. They were actually welded from the inside. =)
