Default Update on my car...

Well the clutch is the last thing that needs to be finished up before the motor is put back in the car. I am hoping within the week it can be dropped off. It will be a dual clutch. The dash as you can see is not yet completed. There will be a main tach (pictured) and 4 other smaller gauges. The Autronics stand alone is sorted up and will be wired. Along with the Nitrous on the intercooler, hard pipes for the intercooler, and a new test pipe. You can click below my sig for pictures of the turbo and other tidbits. Can't wait to get the beast on the road!

Default What is a knife edged crank? A Lightened crank?

Either I cant remember what it means or I've never heard that term before.

Default They take the crank and machine it...

if you look at the edge of my crank you can see where it comes to a point. It is also balanced in the process.

Default I figured they had to balance it otherwise the engine basically would shake like a paint can shaker

even at idle. Looks very cool, hope it all comes together as its meant to.

Default kinda add on question from phil's......im assuming that is a polished OEM crank

and also....do you need to keep it lubricated?

AND...how do you balance it?

Default Shooting for 500hp no NOS. Just needs to be tuned once it's done.

Definitely alot easier with the stand alone.

It's machined. They take off material so the edges are "knife edged" and not round.
