Gt1}RN4h I am confused about modules? Body control and Comfort Control which is which? I was told the module in the drives foot well is the (BCM) body control unit? then someone said it was the comfort Control module which on is it? My module under the drives foot well was under water so i need to repair or replace it Pn# 8H0 959 433 J but i need to know which one it is? thank you George

What year is your A4? That may help. Also what items do not function? Run VCDS Autoscan and see which modules don't respond or are logging errors and list that here.

It is a 2007 A4 cabriolet 2.0. I do not have a VCDS. Scanner.

George, the idyll you are referring to is the CCM. If it was wet, you need a new one. I went thru this on my A4 convertible. The issue is, good luck finding one. Your best bet is to contact Mike Lazar at byersimports.com. I paid $600.00 for the same part. My local Audi dealer wanted a grand for it. The next issue is that it’s not plug & play. It must be programmed to your vehicle. That cost me $200.00.
